Parents of students residing in Rose Township or the Village of Holly should take note… If your child is at least 13 years old or will be 13 by the activity or program completion, and they get free/reduced lunch, there’s help available. The Holly Area Youth Assistance (HAYA) has Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
These funds can be used to pay for enrichment activities or programs for your child.
Things like sports, driver’s education, AP testing, etc. 😎
To apply for assistance, fill out a Skill Building application at Holly Area YA.
You can finish the application online and email proof of Income and Residency documents to the HAYA office at haya4kids63@gmail.com.
Alternatively, you can download the application at Skill Building Application.
Fill it out and turn it in at the HAYA office in the Holly Middle School.

Documents Accepted for Proof of Income & Residency
Adequate Criterion Arising from the CODE ENFORCEMENT department of Oakland County.
HAYA will need you to provide the following two documents:
★ Proof of Residency Document (provide one of the following)
■ Copy of parent/guardian’s driver’s license
■ State ID, state document showing residency
■ Recent utility bill, with the proper address shown
■ Property tax invoice, with the proper address shown
★ Proof of Income/Financial Support (provide one of the following)
■ Copy of Bridge Card, MI EBT Food Assistance
■ Free & reduced school lunch eligibility documentation
■ Copy of parent/guardian’s SSI Social Security statement (with SS# blocked out)
■ Copy of signature page of parent/guardian’s most recent tax return (with SS# blocked out)
👉Please deliver both documents to HAYA promptly for application processing by our Board of Directors.
