Holly Area Youth Assistance (HAYA) Youth Recognition Awards
The Holly Area Youth Assistance Youth Recognition Awards is an annual event that HAYA is proud to host in honor of outstanding youth within our community. For decades, our Youth Recognition Committee has celebrated students for their remarkable achievements and contributions.
Students are recognized for personal milestones, simple acts of kindness within their schools, and impactful charitable work throughout Michigan or across the country. These honorees are selected for their active roles in making the Holly area a better place and for their dedication to helping others. Nominations are welcomed from schools, community organizations, civic leaders, the faith community, and local residents.
Do you know an outstanding Holly youth performing exceptional deeds by serving their school, church, or community?
HAYA acknowledges and celebrates youth for exceptional community service. Nominations are welcome from teachers, coaches, clergy, clubs, hospitals, emergency services, or anyone who has witnessed a student’s personal success and volunteer spirit.

Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominees must be school-age students who live within the boundaries of the Holly Area School District. Students may be nominated for various reasons, including:
- Exceptional service to others
- Setting a positive example for peers
- Overcoming significant personal challenges or circumstances
- Outstanding humanitarian acts or heroism
- Exceptional service by an individual student
Please note: No monetary compensation or court-ordered community service is eligible for recognition.
Nominate a Holly Student
This information is vital for contacting nominees and their families. For each student, you will need:
- Full Name (with proper spelling)
- Phonetic spelling of the name
- Student’s address and phone number
- Age, school, and grade level
- Parent/Guardian name(s), phone number, and email address
Nominator Statement: You will be asked to describe why you are nominating this individual. Please consider the specific impact of their actions before beginning the process.
