Professional programs and services are performed under the guidance of Oakland County Youth Assistance’s professional staff. These staff members also work side-by-side with volunteers. The volunteers help with mentoring and family education programs.
What issues are local communities grappling with? Recent trends show that alcohol and drug-related abuse among youth remains high. School truancy is escalating. Phone misuse due to sexting is increasing due to social media and the use of electronics at a younger age. Recognizing these are family and societal issues, Holly Area Youth Assistance is here to offer support. We offer guidance to help our youth and families become successful.

Skill Building – Youth Enrichment Scholarships
HAYA Youth Enrichment aims to offer low-income youth opportunities. They can join in academic, athletic, and cultural skill-building activities. Their families would not manage to afford these activities otherwise. These skill-building scholarships are aimed at expanding horizons, increasing skills, building self-confidence, and enhancing self-esteem.
