We look back on 2025 with pride.
Holly Area Youth Assistance (HAYA) is excited to share the incredible impact we’ve made together.
We are guided by our mission to reduce juvenile delinquency, childhood abuse, and neglect through community involvement. This past year, HAYA served as a vital catalyst for excellence in the Holly Area School District.
Thanks to our partnership with Oakland County Youth Assistance, we can offer detrimental help. The generosity of our Holly donors enabled us to support over 540 local students and families.
2025 Impact Highlights:
- Casework Services: Ms. Sarah McGrath, LMSW, provided confidential, no-cost casework to 83 families, offering a supportive alternative to formal legal proceedings.
- Skill Building: We invested $23,570.66 to help 119 students take part in life-changing activities. These activities range from Driver’s Education and sports to AP exams and credit recovery.
- Holiday Magic: The Jacobson-Quinn Toy Project ensured that 282 children across 97 families received gifts during the holiday season.
- Education & Future Growth: We awarded $1,500 scholarships to Alexis Culver (UM-Flint). We also awarded a scholarship to Ambrielle Hoffman (MSU). We aim to support their post-secondary journeys.
- Essential Needs: We provided high-quality footwear to 57 students. We also equipped 60 students with backpacks and supplies. Our efforts ensured our youth walk the hallways with confidence.
A Special Thank You, as our work was bolstered this year by a significant $7,750.00 gift from the Mark Grimwood Trust, alongside $9,436.36 raised through community donations and local fundraising.
Your support has made a tangible difference. It was clear through the Musical Instrument program, Family Education classes, or our Youth Recognition event. These events honored students like Makenzie Cornell, Easton Creger, and Madison Lombard.
